History
Our institution is the longest operating Bank with a dominant foreign shareholding in the Polish market. It was set up in 1989 as American Bank in Poland.
In 1998, German DG Bank, later transformed into DZ BANK AG, became one of its shareholders. We began operating as DZ BANK Polska S.A. in the fall of 2003. With the support of the strong shareholder well-established in the European financial market, we have created a modern institution growing fast in the Polish banking market.
Currently, DZ BANK AG holds nearly 100% of the DZ BANK Polska S.A.'s equity. Such a considerable involvement of our shareholder provides a good guarantee of stability and safety.
