DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank of Frankfurt am Main, managing over EUR 400 billion in assets, is one of the largest European financial groups. The Bank was formed in September 2001 as a result of a merger of two German banks.
DZ BANK AG has been repositioned as the central bank, corporate bank and parent holding company for the DZ BANK Group.

As a holding company finally, DZ BANK AG coordinates the efforts of the cooperative sector's comprehensive range of specialist service providers which includes activity such as insurance, asset management, private banking, leasing, real estate and mortgages or factoring. Among others Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, R+V Versicherung, Union Investment, DG HYP and VR Leasing belong to the DZ BANK Group.
