DZ BANK Polska received the first prize in the category "Corporate Banks" in the ranking of "50 largest banks in Poland". This prestigious ranking was prepared by the monthly magazine "The Bank".

The category "Corporate Bank" covers banks which focus entirely on the corporate clients. Being nominated for the first time DZ BANK Polska managed to leave behind the previous winner Deutsche Bank Polska as well as Rabobank Polska, BRE Bank Hipoteczny, West LB Bank Polska and Dexia Kommunalkredit Bank Polska.

"The best corporate bank in Poland" award came just after DZ BANK Polska was honoured with the "Solid Employer 2007" title.

The best employers in Poland have been chosen in a nation-wide competition organised by the Media Partner Group, publishers of the "Przegląd Gospodarczy" supplement in "Gazeta Prawna" and the "Rzecz o Biznesie" supplement in the daily "Rzeczpospolita".

The title is awarded every year to firms which perfectly manage human resources and perform their obligations towards employees. The basic criterion applied by the competition jury in selecting the winners is the so-called employment solidity coefficient. It is calculated on the basis of such factors like working conditions (OHS regulations, labour law), timeliness of payments, social conditions (social benefit funds, holiday funds), staff training and career paths. The development of employment in recent years and a positive image in the community (opinions of the State Labour Inspection, business organisations) is also taken into account.

The award for DZ BANK Polska is an expression of the admiration for the HR policy pursued by the Bank. Our institution has been appreciated for the system of training courses supporting and developing staff competencies, our care for the comfort and safety of the working environment and the codification of the principles and values on which the work of the entire Bank is based, to name just a few.
