On 23 July 2009 the Bank's Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting appointed Wolfgang Köhler as Member of the Supervisory Board of DZ BANK Polska S.A. Wolfgang Köhler was appointed for the term of office of the Supervisory Board which was elected at the Bank's Ordinary General Shareholders'  Meeting held on 10 June 2009.

Wolfgang Köhler's professional career has always been linked with the DZ BANK Group and the German sector of cooperative banking. At present, since 15 October 2007, he is member of the Management Board of DZ BANK AG in Frankfurt am Main - the parent company of DZ BANK Polska S.A. He is responsible, inter alia, for the departments of treasury, structured financing, investment banking, information technology and organization as well as sales on the capital markets in Germany and Austria. His responsibilities cover also the Bank's subsidiaries in New York, Singapore, London, Hong-Kong and Milan as well as the collaboration with cooperative banks in Hesse, Thuringia and Saxony.  
In the years 2001-2007, Wolfgang Köhler held, among other functions, the position of Head of the Risk Controlling Division and Treasury Division at DZ BANK AG. He was also member of the Management Board and spokesman for the Management Board of DZ BANK International in Luxembourg. Earlier, since 1980, he had worked for SGZ-Bank (later GZ BANK), where, among other functions, he held the position of  Head of Money Markets / Derivatives Division, Assistant General Manager and member of the Management Board of the Singapore and Luxembourg Branch.  

Wolfgang Köhler studied computer science and industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe. He is a graduate of the faculty of industrial engineering and completed a course of Chartered Financial Analysts at the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, USA.
