A European transfer within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) differs from the existing EuroELIXIR transfer among other things by the abolishment of the amount limit and accelerated date of transfer. In accordance with the standard adopted by DZ BANK Polska, funds will be delivered to the recipient's bank as quickly as on the next day after submitting the SEPA transfer order. What is more, the transfer recipient will receive the full amount because in accordance with the SEPA payment rules, banks cannot deduct the costs of transfer from the transfer amount.
The fee for a SEPA transfer is PLN 5 regardless of the transaction amount. Such fee is paid both by corporate and individual customers. A separate form in the DZ Internet banking system should be used to submit a European transfer order.
A SEPA transfer may be performed only to banks-participants of the Single Euro Payments Area, i.e. the area of the European Union as well as Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Switzerland. The customer does not have to know whether the recipient's bank uses the SEPA system. The DZ Internet system provides a list of banks participating in SEPA and will automatically verify the possibility of conducting such a transfer before it is dispatched.
