DZ BANK Polska S.A. received the first prize in the category "Corporate Banks" according to the ranking "50 largest banks in Poland". This prestigious list was prepared by the monthly magazine " Bank" for the 15th time. The award ceremony took place in Warsaw at the Hilton hotel on June, 22.
The ranking was based on a number of factors, including the dynamics of growth in the credit action, growth of deposits' volume and the number of new accounts. DZ BANK Polska S.A. - as the only one - noted growth in all these categories. The Bank achieved also very good position (7th) in category "Effectiveness of the employed staff". DZ BANK Polska S.A. was awarded the title of the best corporate bank in Poland for the second time. It received the same prize two years ago.

Just after being awarded the title of the best corporate bank in Poland, DZ BANK Polska was ranked amongst top five best banks in Poland by another paper. In its ranking of financial institutions published on June, 23rd the "Rzeczpospolita" daily - one of the biggest and most reputable Polish dailies - ranked DZ BANK Polska S.A. the 5th Best Bank in Poland.
The daily assessed institutions with more than PLN 1 billion worth of assets and who, besides that, generated profit for the last two years and have been operating for at least three years. The award committee considered such criteria as a change in the loan and deposit portfolio, net profit, profitability ratios (ROE, ROA and C/I), the number of maintained corporate and retail accounts, solvency ratio, loan to deposit ratio and non-performing loan ratio. It assessed the percentage and nominal changes, while percentage changes were rated more highly. The highest rates were assigned for good performance ratios (ROA, ROE and C/I), the level of solvency ratio and change in the loan and deposit portfolio, and net profit.
