Trans-border transfers

Definitions of a trans-border transfer:

an outgoing foreign transfer instruction whereby a client of DZ BANK Polska S.A. remits a certain amount of cash to a beneficiary's account in another EU member state;

an incoming foreign transfer instruction whereby a credit institution, a branch of a credit institution or another entity authorized to make trans-border transfers, operating in the territory of a EU member state, remits a certain amount of cash from the sender's account to the account of a client of DZ BANK Polska S.A.

a cash deposit made abroad, whereby a credit institution, a branch of a credit institution or another entity authorized to make trans-border transfers, operating in the territory of a EU member state, remits a certain amount of money deposited by the sender in cash to the account of a client of DZ BANK Polska S.A.

Number of days necessary to credit a trans-border transfer to the beneficiary's bank account:

Instructions where the beneficiary's bank is a correspondent bank of DZ BANK Polska S.A.:

for standard instructions - on the spot value date (2 business days after the date of making the entry)

for instructions with a negotiated earlier value date - according to agreements: with the value date of the transaction entry or with the value date of the day following the transaction entry

Instructions where the beneficiary's bank is not a correspondent bank of DZ BANK Polska S.A.:

by the end of the fifth business day following the instruction entry.


Distribution of the cost of trans-border transfers:

the sender may indicate the party to bear the cost of DZ BANK Polska S.A. and other intermediary banks

if the sender indicated the recipient as the party bearing the cost of DZ BANK Polska S.A., the transfer amount is reduced by the fee payable to DZ BANK Polska S.A.

if the sender is indicated as the party bearing the cost of DZ BANK Polska S.A. the sender is charged with the costs of other banks. The amount depends on the country of the recipient's bank headquarters

Procedure for review of complaints on trans-border transfers:

complaints concerning foreign currency transfers are reviewed under the procedure set forth in the Regulations on Opening and Maintenance of Current Accounts at DZ BANK Polska S.A.
